On the morning of September 7th, the closing ceremony of the 9th “Challenge Cup” Anhui University Students’ Entrepreneurial Plan Competition was held at Anhui Polytechnic University. University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) won the Winner’s Cup with the first place in the number of gold medals and the third place in the total score.
From September 5th to 6th, the final round of the 9th “Challenge Cup” Anhui University Students’ Entrepreneurial Plan Competition was held with closed defense. After group defense and expert evaluation, USTCer’s entries stood out. A total of 5 works of USTC Integrated System of Eco-Satellite Supervision, “Standard Gauge” of Medical Image - 3D Printing Preparation and Characterization System of Bio-Optical Simulant, Integrated Solution of Cold Chain Logistics Enterprise Based on Blockchain Technology, Automatic Kitchen Waste Resource Treatment Equipment Based on Internet of Things, and Explosive Compound Solutions for Military Special Materials and Manufacturing of Structures for Military Use, won the gold medal.
Since the competition was launched in May, it has received positive responses from colleges and universities in the province. A total of 94 schools participated in the competition and 650 entries were submitted for the provincial-level match. USTC ranked first in Anhui province in the number of gold medals, among 77 universities and colleges and 199 entries in the final round,.
“Challenge Cup” is an innovative and entrepreneurial competition, aiming at cultivating innovative consciousness, inspiring creative thinking, enhancing creative ability and nurturing entrepreneurial talents.This year's competition is more focused on the five development concepts of innovation, coordination, green development, openness and sharing.
This “Challenge Cup” is a provincial-level selection competition and the final competition will be held at Northeast Forestry University in November this year.
